Book Review: Let Her Be (Hush, #6) by Lisa Unger

Image
Let Her Be (Hush, #6)   by Lisa Unger is a short story that opens with the main character attempting suicide and going through a treatment plan to get better. When his ex-girlfriend disappears, he elicits the help of their mutual friend Emily to find out what happened. I decided to read this story without reading the synopsis because it is written by one of my favorite authors. Had I realized the story included domestic abuse and attempted suicide, I might have passed on it. However, I persevered and wanted to find out what happened to the ex-girlfriend.  There were some red herrings that completely threw me, and the person who I thought was involved wasn't involved. I have to say I was shocked by the ending and didn't care for the revelation.  As for the characters, there weren't many in the story, but I have to say I didn't care for the main character. The rest of the characters were likable. Four out of five stars is what I gave  Let Her Be (Hush, #6)  by Lisa Unger.

Product Review: Mr. Clean: Clean Freak Deep Cleaning Mist - Gain Scent

Mr Clean Clean Freak Deep Cleaning Mist
One particular weekend night, I was watching television, and a commercial came on advertising Mr. Clean: Clean Freak Deep Cleaning Mist. In the ad, it mentioned that it would take off grime and dirt after spraying it on the surface and wiping it off with a simple swipe. It went on to mention that it could be used in the bathroom, and I thought, "I really need to try this product on my bathtub."

Excited, I couldn't wait to buy it and looked for it at the grocery store the next day while I was getting my weekly groceries. I wasn't expecting to actually find it in stores yet because it usually takes the stores in my area a few weeks to get products in stock after I see it advertised on television. Much to my surprise and delight, my local Kroger Grocery Store actually had the Mr. Clean: Clean Freak Deep Cleaning Mist in stock and in no less than two scents. I grabbed the Gain Scent bottle and stuck it in my grocery cart.

Eventually, I decided to use it to clean my bathtub this past weekend, and I was sorely disappointed in the way the Mr. Clean: Clean Freak Deep Cleaning Mist cleaned my bathtub. I literally cleaned my bathtub twice with in, and the cleaning mist did very little to get my bathtub clean. So, I had to clean my bathtub for a third time with a different product which was the Kaboom! Foaming Spray. The Kaboom! Foaming Spray got my bathtub clean in a jiffy.

Although, the Mr. Clean: Clean Freak Deep Cleaning Mist had a fabulous scent, I doubt I'll buy it again. With that being said, I will test it out on my toilet and sink to see how it does there. However, I am the type of person who likes to buy one type of cleaning product that will clean my entire bathroom instead of buying multiple products, so I just don't think this product is for me.

Have you tried the Mr. Clean: Clean Freak Deep Cleaning Mist? If so, let us know what you thought about it in the comments.

  1. i started using Clean FReak when I seen it advertised on tv. My landlord asked me to clean his apartment for him; he pull out the bottom off the stove and it had burned on stuff. I sprayed CLEAN FREAK on it over nite; and I went up the next day and it all came up. I took 2 burners up on my apartment stove; and, I sprayed it let it set for about an hour and half and it right off. Plus, it smells so good. My suggestion would be to come out with more fragrances. ymore about this product than I have. THANK YOU FOR COMING OUT WITH THIS PRODUCT.I vould not brag an

  4. I too bought this product very excited to clean kitchen and bathroom… disappointed in both kitchen and horrible in bathroom. My tub experience was exactly the same. I tried the entire tub 2x back to back and went to a different clean and then went to my BEST appliance purchase EVER… Dupray Neat steam cleaner. It cleans like no other… I have used shark steam cleaner, which is very good and I love my Shark Apex Vacuum (best vacuum I have ever purchased) but the Dupray and Kaboom are still my best recommendations for bathroom and kitchen! I also am a zealot fan for Bar Tenders Friend… beats Ajax/Comet hands down!!
