Book Review: Unruly Julie by Alan Moss

Unruly Julie  by Alan Moss  is a children's picture book with an expected publication date of January 28, 2025. This rhyming kids book is about a girl named Julie who gets herself into trouble by being mischievous before finally realizing she wants to behave like a proper little girl. I'd like to thank NetGalley and Troubador Publishing Ltd. for providing me with an Advanced Readers Copy (ARC) of Unruly Julie  for free in exchange for my honest review. I found the title and cover of the book to be quite catchy and wanted to see what it was all about, and it didn't disappoint. The content of the story was quite catchy and memorable, and the illustrations were quite fun. The lesson was a passive lesson that I hope children will pick up on as it's an important one. It's just an all around fun book that's appropriate for children between the ages of three and five. Five out of five stars is what I give Unruly Julie  by Alan Moss. Product Review: OPI Formaldehyde Free Start to Finish Base Coat, Top Coat, & Strengthener

This past weekend, I decided my nails were in major need of some TLC . . . tender, loving, care. I went to my local Sally Beauty Supply store and purchased several items including OPI Formaldehyde Free Start to Finish Base Coat, Top Coat, & Strengthener along with some nail polish and a nail file. I couldn't wait to get started on my nails and immediately got to work.

First, I filed my nails so they were even and washed my hands off to make sure they were clean of dirt. Then, I applied the OPI Formaldehyde Free Start to Finish Base Coast, Top Coat, and Strengthener and let it dry before applying two coats of nail polish. When the nail polish dried, I applied the OPI Formaldehyde Free Start to Finish Base Coast, Top Coat, and Strengthener again.

My nails look a lot prettier, and they definitely feel a lot stronger. Using this OPI product before and after my nail polish has definitely helped in keeping the nail polish from chipping. It also dried a lot quicker than I expected. It is definitely worth the $13.99 I spent at Sally Beauty Supply, and I am pleasantly surprised. I can't wait to paint my nails in different colors this weekend.

Five out five stars is what I gave OPI Formaldehyde Free Start to Finish Base Coat, Top Coat, & Strengthener for all the reasons mentioned above, and this product has become my go to for when I do my nails.

Hidden Beneath (Maine Clambake Mystery, #11) by Barbara Ross is the story about Julia and her mother Jacqueline attending a memorial service on Chipmunk Island for Ginny, who was an old friend of Jacqueline.  When something seems off at the memorial, Julia decides to delve into the cold case of Ginny, and in the process of the investigation, a murder takes place on the island. Book Review: The Dare by Natasha Preston

The Dare by Natasha Preston is a young adult horror novel about Marley and her friends Atlas, Lucia, and Jesse are seniors in high school.  The senior pranks are fun and lighthearted until Rhett starts doling out dares that are more serious.  Will Marley and her friends survive? A huge thank you to NetGalley for the Advanced Readers Copy of The Dare  by Natasha Preston.  The last book I read by this author was so well written, I knew I wanted to give her latest story a try. The first thing I noticed about the story is it's reminiscent of R.L.
