Witch and Tell (Witch Way Librarian Mysteries, #7)  by Angela M. Sanders   opens with librarian Josie Way's magic being on the fritz. Josie is also in a bit of a funk since her boyfriend, Sam, ghosted her after she told him she's a witch. To top things off, Josie wakes up in the middle of the night to find a body in the atrium of the library, only to have it disappear again after calling the cops. Why is there such bad energy surrounding the town of Wilfred, and why do bad things keep happening? First and foremost, a big thank you goes out to NetGalley for approving my request for an Advanced Readers Copy (ARC) of this novel. I was thrilled to receive a digital copy for free in exchange for my honest review. Receiving an ARC always brightens my day!  To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect in this latest edition of the Witch Way Librarian Mysteries  series, but I wasn't let down in the least. Book Review: Triptych (Will Trent, #1) by Karin Slaughter

Triptych (Will Trent, #1) by Karin Slaughter is the first installment of the Will Trent book series. GBI Agent Will Trent is assigned to a case where women are being murdered and their tongues bitten off. Is this a case of a copycat or the original murderer starting to kill again?

I discovered this series because of the ABC Television Show Will Trent that's based on the Karin Slaughter book series. I already was familiar with the author but hadn't read any of her books, but I fell in love with the television show, so I knew I had to read the books. When I picked up Triptych, I wondered how closely the show would mimic the novels. For the most part, the two coincide quite a bit, but there is one HUGE difference, which I will not be revealing here because it's a significant spoiler to the book.

Slaughter provided lots of twists and turns throughout the story and had me second guessing myself. However, I correctly guessed who murdered everyone relatively early on and kept going back to that person as that culprit. Although, approximately halfway through the book, there was a big revelation that I didn't see coming at all and was completely shocked!

Karin Slaughter is a phenomenal writer and storyteller. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series and am debating on reading another of the author's series because I learned of a crossover (and spoiler) during the book signing of the latest Will Trent book that just came out this month. Five out of five stars is what I gave Triptych (Will Trent, #1) by Karin Slaughter.
